Company Overview:


Our client is a market leader in providing comprehensive and bespoke construction testing services across various sectors of the UK construction market.

With expertise spanning commercial, rail, roads, airports, utilities, residential, and more. They are known for their technical knowledge, collaborative approach, and extensive network of laboratories and field-based teams nationwide.


The Role:

As the company is continuously exploring M&A opportunities, experience in TUPE, redundancy, and change management would be advantageous.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of HR matters, with a focus on employee relations.
  • Collaborate closely with line managers to address ER issues effectively and proactively.
  • Support managers in disciplinary processes, career development initiatives, and compensation and benefits reviews.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.
  • Assist in managing M&A activities.

Preferred Experience:


  • Previous experience in a broad, generalist HR role, preferably at HRBP or Senior HR Advisor level.
  • Proven track record of thriving in a fastpaced, product or servicedriven environment.
  • Strong expertise in employee relations, with the ability to balance directness with approachability.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and development of HR practices.
  • Experience with M&A, TUPE, and redundancy processes would be highly beneficial.
  • High potential individuals with a clear trajectory for future career progression are preferred

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Some form of qualification e.g. Bachelor's degree in HR, CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification would be a nice to have, but not must have.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
