Job overview:


_We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join the Onward Care Team based at St Barnabus Hospital in Saltash. We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and confident individual who can offer efficient administration support to a multi-disciplinary team who support discharge and patient flow through the acute hospital._

_ The postholder will support with all aspects of administration duties and act as the first point of contact for wards, community teams and health and social care colleagues. You should have excellent IT, keyboard and customer service skills, be motivated and able to multitask._

_ There will be a requirement to travel to Derriford Hospital, however expenses for parking, bridge tolls and fuel costs (base to base) will be covered._

Main duties of the job:


To provide general day to day administrative support for various key functions within the Cornwall Onward Care Team as part of a 7-day service, including weekends and bank holidays.


The post holder will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive information/data collection and reporting, ensuring it is fit for purpose.

This includes liaising within the team and wider community services.


The post holder will be required to manage and prioritise their day-to-day workload and use their initiative, without direct supervision, for routine tasks.

This will require good organisational skills and the ability to cope with working to tight deadlines and with frequent interruptions.

The role involves frequently dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
