We have an exciting opportunity to participate on a critical national infrastructure project in the North-West, by joining our Project Delivery Consultancy.
As a Senior Risk Manager, your role will be to act as a centre of excellence and be the focal point in delivering the highest standards of Risk Management, reporting and schedule analysis for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and understanding of the Project/Programme scope, assumptions and dependencies.
- Facilitate risk workshops to identify and manage specific project / programme related threats, opportunities and issues.
- Oversee and manage the risk tool activities to ensure quality and accuracy of data.
- Providing the project team with proactive risk information to facilitate the understanding of the current risk position, risk proximity and proactive management actions.
- Excellent written and verbal skills and comfortable when presenting threat and opportunity management data to project and programme stakeholders, and leadership team.
- Be able to recommend key items for escalation within the business.
- Use of statistical analysis techniques when preparing risk data
- Ensuring that mitigation actions are embedded into project scope and plans through the Change Board.
- 5 years Risk Management experience in relevant high value, national infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in project controls teams.
- Fit easily into project teams and work autonomously.
- Presentable with high levels of credibility, capable of presenting information to senior colleagues.
- Demonstrable experience in mentoring junior colleagues.
- Have been cleared to BPSS as a minimum.
- Proficient in Excel, Risk Management and reporting tools
- An understanding of civil aviation industry would be advantageous.
