Front-End Developer

Location | Workplace policy:
Fully remote + flexible hours (Must be based in UK)


Salary:

Having experienced tremendous growth over the last 2 years from 38 people to 110 (mixture of organic growth via brand wins AND M&A activity), they're pushing for a culture of software craftmanship driven by a new Head of Engineering and need Front-End Developerswith JavaScript experience to help lead the way.


Core tech needed:


  • Highly skilled in the following HTML
  • Personal interest in frontend web development
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Able to design and build complex technical solutions with mínimal assistance
  • Experience working with one or more JavaScript based build tool (e.g. Grunt, Gulp, Webpack)
  • Knowledge of HTTP and H2 protocols
  • Background working across the full web development lifecycle
  • Expert communicator that can manage stakeholders
  • Punctual and able to keep close attention to detail within time scales

Key responsibilities:


  • Analyse business requirements and documents and deliver tech products that meet quality and time needs
  • Ensure software aligns with coding standards
  • Create, document, and implement automated test scenarios
  • Regularly update technical documents
  • Perform manual testing of works
  • Investigate, analyse and document defects and work to solve
  • Provide customers with support as part of an oncall rota
  • Participate in project planning meetings and discovery sessions and ensure your voice is heard
  • Mentor junior members of the team when necessary
