Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that products are delivered safely and on time.


Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks
  • Load and unload goods and materials
  • Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Experience as a van driver or commercial driver preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to handle basic vehicle maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Ability to drive safely and responsibly in various weather conditions
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus

Salary:
£17.00-£19.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No more than 50 per week


Experience:


  • Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
