As an Outstanding College we are now looking to maintain this momentum, by appointing a College Counsellor to maintain and further develop our counselling and welfare service for all our students.
In conjunction with the college mental health team who support retention and attainment, the successful applicant will provide specialist support and interventions for students experiencing mental health difficulties, including clinical assessment, dropin service, shortterm counselling, signposting and supported referrals to appropriate agencies. The successful applicant will also be the 'goto' person for any tutor enquiries about supporting the mental health of their students.
