Description

A Primary School in Newcastle are searching for a Tutor to work full-time with pupils in Year 6 and Year 3.

Your working hours will be 8:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

You will be supporting the students with their reading, writing and maths, working inboth small groups and 1:1 with certain pupils.

Roles and responsibilities:

Plan and deliver specific programmes which complement ongoing class work, learning objectives and assessment plans along with the class teacher
Deliver tuition facetoface /and be confident in adapting content, style, format of the session to ensure results are achieved
Build strong relationships with pupils and school contacts through session delivery, weekly review meetings, tuition progress reports and feedback
Relevant education, learning, childcare qualifications or at least 6 months experience
Up to date knowledge and a clear understanding of the UK Curriculum
A commitment to deliver challenging and engaging sessions for an entire programme
