Installation / Field Service Engineer

Basildon

£25,000 to £30,000 per annum + Bonus

The role

  • Working for an established manufacturing laser company the role is to service and repair laser machines across UK
  • Installation of laser machines to customers and carry out software/hardware training
  • Training will be carried out in house, but some will require external training qualifications such as BOHS P60
  • Overnight stays will be required if site visit is a significant long distance from office, but typical jobs will be up to 2 hours from base

Skills required

  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer is an advantage Working as a Field Service Engineer on both electrical and mechanical faults
  • Good faultfinding skills BOHS P60
  • Local Exhaust Ventilation is an advantage, but training can be provided
  • A full UK driving licence
