The Role:

  • Reporting to the Sales & Project Manager
  • To meet with clients onsite in Whitby weekly (pool car provided)
  • To meet with anyone of the 10 to 15 individual client site Project Managers who run each of these onsite projects
  • To discuss the stages of the projects ensuring the agree times frames and requirements are being met and any alterations to those plans are appropriately communicated with the company's onsite team and the manufacturing team
  • Liaising with the manufacturing Heads of departments onsite and in in Rotherham to ensure the demands of the projects are manageable and any alterations do not affect the company's commitment to meet their deadlines for production
  • If and when a deadline is compromised, it is fed back the client and mutually convenient solution is agreed and signed off
  • Managing Information process through the company Microsoft Projects and Excel computer packages, allowing all internal key stakeholders to see alterations or information that is required to complete each projects successfully
  • Educated to a minimum of HNC in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years as a Projects Engineer
  • Can evidence large scale Project management
  • Can evidence liaison at all levels
  • Has a clear and concise communication style
  • Is a solution orientated individual with ideas
  • Is very team orientated
  • Has used projectbased computer software like Microsoft Project and can use Excel Spreadsheet
