Knighton Day Nursery and Pre School is a small, independent, Curiosity Approach Accredited setting where every day is different and play is at the centre of everything we do do.

We have an opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team. Our ideal applicant has experience of using authentic and natural resources and in the moment planning, but being enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated is most important - we can teach you all about our approach


The role includes -

• Ensuring the welfare and safety of the children at all times
• Maintaining confidentiality
• Telling parents carers about all the lovely things the children have done
• Carrying out holistic observations and completing online learning journals for key children
• Spending a large part of your time engaging and playing with the children
• Working as part of the team, helping and supporting each other to provide the best experiences for the children
• Following the children's interests, encouraging them to test their ideas and try something new
• Telling great stories
• Not being afraid to get messy

Qualifications
A full and relevant Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification is required


Hours
Working shifts between 7.30 and 6pm

Full time - 40 hours / 5 days

Part time hours and opportunities for overtime


This is not a term time / school hours position

£19,760.00-£21,675.00 per year
