Job description
Our client is an award-winning commercial motor insurer entering an exciting period of growth.

They are looking for a Business Development Manager
based in the South of England to join their existing BDM team.


Travel will be required - _postcodes to cover: RG, SO, PO, GU, RH_


Essential - _Driving License_

  • An insurance broker with motor experience looking for a change of direction.
  • Or, someone with experience working as a BDM within the insurance industry.

Skills & Responsibilities

  • Build on our existing relationships with insurance brokers.
  • Identify new broker opportunities within the South.
  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand.
  • Maintain existing business and increase enquiry numbers.
  • Attend biweekly BDM team meetings (virtually).
  • Plan broker visits in advance.
  • Keep individual reports up to date following each meeting with a broker.
  • Meet reporting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills are imperative.
  • We are looking for someone who is able to manage their own time and use their initiative.
  • You must be focused and goaloriented.

Qualifications

  • Cert CII or the willingness to work to achieve this.
years' prior industry-related experience.
