The Role

Due to rapid growth and continuous success, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking an Assistant Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join our Fortem team at our Fortem branch, working on a social housing repairs and maintenance contract.

The Project

As our Assistant Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, you will support our Electrical QS in ensuring that Fortem Birmingham complies with all electrical regulations (including 18th edition), and maintains its registration as an, NICEIC approved electrical contractor.

This is a hybrid role, that involves part of your time working on site carrying out electrical works, and part of your time working with the Electrical QS supporting with compliance aspects.

This is a developmental role with a view to long-term progress into an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor.

  • City & Guilds (C&G) Part 1 & 2 in Electrical installation or Level 3 Electrotechnical If after NVQ Level 3 Certificate or C&G 2330 Level 3 electro technical qualification or C&G 2365 / 2357 NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures)
  • C&G 2360 Electrical Installation Work Course A & B
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services C&G Current BS 7671 Certificate th Edition
  • City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection certificate
  • Flexibility to undertake regular travel

Desirable Criteria:

  • JIBP Health & Safety Test Certificate with current JIBP card
  • City & Guilds 2377 Pat Testing certificate
  • Unvented Hot Water certificate
  • Domestic Installer (Part P)
  • C&G PAT Certificate (2377
