With recent success in securing numerous large-scale infrastructure projects, we're expanding our capabilities and seeking a passionate Environmentalist to spearhead our Environmental Assessments across the entire Amey Consulting portfolio.

You will be responsible for:


  • Lead and manage environmental assessments, impact studies, and compliance evaluations for infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive environmental audits and evaluations to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on environmental best practices, sustainability, and conservation measures.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to minimize the environmental impact of projects, including waste management, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint reduction.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and support the permitting process for infrastructure projects.
  • Stay uptodate with emerging environmental trends, regulations, and industry standards, and provide relevant insights to the organization.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants, fostering their professional development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and planners, to integrate environmental considerations into project designs.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an environmental consultant, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, impact assessment methodologies, and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in conducting environmental audits, risk assessments, and impact evaluations.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, including conducting public consultations and managing community relations.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex environmental concepts to diverse audiences.
