HOURS:
Full Time - 18 Month Fixed Term Contract


WORKING PATTERN:
Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

About this opportunity


The Property Operations Team is responsible for the oversight, control, services and maintenance of the Group's properties to ensure a sustainable and safe working environment is provided for customers and colleagues.


This is a new role as we are pulling together management of all Property systems under the remit of one team.

We are the engine room for Group Places, ensuring that service is smooth and un-disrupted through:

  • Oversight, management and delivery of BAU change initiatives
  • Owning and managing endtoend partner relationships and associated commercial activity
  • Owning investment and BAU budgets and managing the relationships with key stakeholders
  • Management of systems to ensure they are compliant with correct governance in place
What you will be doing

  • Developing a deep understanding of the systems and their operation, particularly areas such as document outputs and scheduled tasks.
  • Supporting development resource with issue resolution.
  • Ability to create and analyse complex data sets.
  • Management of test strategy and creation of test data and scripts.
  • Managing associated risks within the systems
  • Investigate complex issues identified and identify process improvements

What we need from you:

  • Experience of working and managing systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic and changing environment.
  • Demonstrate a passion for systems and a willingness to develop towards becoming a lead expert in systems management
  • Experience of Identifying, articulating, and documenting risks
  • Experience of Identifying process improvements
  • Experience of System Testing, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing understanding the different requirements of each discipline
  • Experience of using the Change Methods
  • A track record of supporting the successful delivery of change
  • Experience of collaborating closely with business and technical colleagues
  • Good communication skills: clear examples of effectively communicating ideas, issues and implications to different audiences.
  • Experience in experimenting with new techniques and approaches to getting work done
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve individual and collective goals, you thrive in an environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement
