    Job Title: Service Technician

    Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex

    Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000 OTE

    We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our busy service department at a long-established main dealership in Eastbourne.

    This is an excellent opportunity for career development and growth, working with a wide range of vehicle models and technologies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform car and van servicing to manufacturer standards.
    • Carry out car and van repairs.
    • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify technical issues quickly.
    • Carry out MOT tests.
    • Liaise with the Service Manager on work progress and update records.
    • Advise Service Receptionists on required repairs.
    • Work with the Parts Team to ensure availability of necessary parts.
    • Maintain accurate vehicle repair and service records.
    • Ensure tools and equipment are kept to a high standard.

    The Service Technician role offers the opportunity to work as part of a team, using technical expertise to solve complex problems while gaining new skills and exposure to different vehicle models and methods of working.

    To be considered for this role, you must have:

    • Main dealer or independent experience.
    • Level 3 or above qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
    • Strong skills in general maintenance, repair, and diagnostics/fault finding.
    • A Full UK Driving License.
