Just Recruitment Solutions are seeking a Workshop Controller in the Liverpool area for our Main Dealer client.

  • Hours: 8am 6pm Monday
  • Friday with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota


We are currently working with a well-established Motor Trade Dealership who have been operating in the local area for just under 30 successful years and counting and won countless industry specific awards for their achievements.

They are seeking an Experienced Workshop Controller who has at least 2 years Retail Automotive Dealership experience to join and support the work of their Workshop / Service Department and be the glue that keeps everything running smooth and efficiently.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Controller to join a company that is committed to ensuring their staff enjoy their working day.

Within this Workshop Controller role your typical duties will include:

  • Delegating workloads to the Technicians in the workshop
  • Supervising Technicians working in workshop bays
  • Extensive liaison with the Service Department to ensure smooth running of all jobs carried out to the Manufacturer standards
  • Liaising with and assisting Technicians
  • Checking recalls and liaising with the Warranty Department
  • Ensuring WIP's deadlines are met and carried out in a cost effective manner
  • Gaining authorisation from customers to carry out additional work
  • Adhering to company's Health and Safety regulations to prevent accidents within the workplace
