Senior Carbon Consultant
Annual Salary:

Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days remote working)
Are you a Carbon Expert within built environment looking to join an internationally recognised sustainability engineering and design consultancy who are innovative leaders in their fields?
You will have an opportunity to make real impact in the built environment by creating dynamic, environments, living systems that are smart, resilient, and connected.
We are hiring aSenior Carbon Consultant/Engineer in to support the decarbonisation and embodied carbon initiatives. This role will focus on decarbonisation of existing buildings, conducting whole-life carbon assessments, with emphasis on MEP installations.
Role Responsibilities
Decarbonisation
- Develop and implement decolonisation strategies.
- Conduct site surveys, meter data analysis, future performance prediction, masterplanning, and technology appraisal.
- Participate in the development of Net Zero Carbon Roadmaps.
- Conduct embodied carbon studies and propose reduction opportunities.
- Deliver highquality consultancy services, offering clear guidance and recommendations.
- Connect project requirements and implications.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure consistent output.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices in carbon performance.
Training
- Create thought leadership articles and engage in industry conferences.
- Deliver training programs for clients and colleagues.
- Support and mentor junior staff.
- Instruct technicians and support staff related to projects.
Business Development
- Identify new work opportunities with clients and industry professionals.
- Provide content and graphics for pitching new projects.
- Manage assigned projects independently, including client contact, resource planning, and financial discussions.
Role Requirements
- Understanding of building services systems and their operation.
- Developing relationship building and client management skills.
- Experience in delivering highquality technical reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong written English.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in the building services industry sector
- Relevant degree in engineering/architecture/science, with experience in the built environment sector.
- Moderate proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
- Basic proficiency in Autodesk REVIT.
