Job role:

Design and Technology Teacher - Full Time Temporary Position to continue up to end of the summer term with potential to become permanent.

Pay:
Paid to scale (capped at M6)(£

The School seeks to broaden the horizons of each and every student, helping them to achieve at the highest level both academically and though their talents outside of the classroom.

The School are part of the David Ross Education Trust (DRET).

Key Responsibilities:

Planning, delivering and assessing engaging and challenging Design and Technology lessons for students of all abilities.
Working closely with colleagues to create and implement curriculum and assessment plans.
Supporting students to achieve their full potential through differentiated teaching and support.
Providing extracurricular opportunities for students to develop their interests and skills in Design and Technology.

Requirements:

A recognised teaching qualification such as QTS or PGCE.
Experience teaching Design and Technology at KS3 and KS4 level.
Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging and challenging lessons.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
DBS on the update service (although this can be obtained via Reed)
