Description

Our client, an established business within the life and pensions space has an immediate opening for a Senior Compliance Manager to join the business, working in a hybrid, flexible environment.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the Senior Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring all 1st line governance and controls and policies and procedures meet Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulatory requirements.

This will include;

Ongoing horizon scanning, ensuring the business is suitably prepared to meet any change in regulatory requirements
Working with a variety of stakeholders across the business, providing ongoing assurance and oversight of key operating procedures, ensuring that these meet regulatory requirements and drive good customer outcomes
Delivering key regulatory change initiatives, working with the senior leadership team to ensure regulatory change is embedded effectively across the business

The successful applicant will demonstrate;

Excellent knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements
Proven experience in developing FCA regulatory compliant operating procedures
Strong working knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements that govern life, pension and investments products
Ideally relevant professional qualifications e.g. ICA or DipFA.
