A well established company in Beverley is recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance team.

Alongside a salary of up to £27,000 and 35-hour working week This opportunity can also support hybrid working after an initial, successful probationary period.

Working with the wider Finance Team, this is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a new role.

Key responsibilities for the Sales Ledger Clerk will include:

  • Daily processing of invoices, credit, debit notes and respective payments
  • Preparing and Issuing sales invoices in accordance with agreed timescales
  • Process expense invoices and assist in the preparation of regular reconciliation
  • Credit Control and Sales Ledger duties
  • Dealing with supplier queries and correspondences
  • General transactional responsibilities through the wider Finance Team
  • Other ad hoc duties, as required
To be successful in this Sales Ledger Clerk role, you will ideally have:

  • Adaptable / Can do attitude
  • Good communications skills
  • Strong discipline for achieving targets and tight deadlines
  • Able to work alone and as part of a team

This role would be an excellent position for an Accounts Administrator, Finance Admin, Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or Finance Officer looking for a new opportunity, as well as a Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable Clerk.

This role is commutable from Beverley, Tickton, Driffield, Hull and surrounding areas, with onsite parking available.
