About The Role
We're looking for a brilliant Head of Creative to join our fast-paced marketing and design team.

You will be someone with a passion for all things design but with a head for business, combining the two to drive marketing performance in an eye-catching and creative way.


Working with - and inspiring - a team of three graphic designers, you will be responsible for conceptualising ideas, reviewing and giving feedback across all work, and being the custodian for the Genius Sports brand.


This is a team leadership and creative direction role but perfect for someone who likes to get stuck in with hands-on design.

Our team has a wide remit, with design deliverables ranging from event activations, social media ads and product marketing, to internal engagement campaigns and merchandise.

Understanding our business and audiences will be crucial.


Key responsibilities

  • Managing, developing, and inspiring the design team.
  • Conduct meetings with department heads and senior team leaders to discuss their needs and plan projects/campaigns.
  • Interpreting business concepts and briefs and transforming them into creative ideas.
  • Overseeing creative projects, from start to finish, and monitoring the team to ensure they adhere to brand guidelines, project timelines and brief objectives.
  • Brief the creative team and/or creative agencies.
  • Quality control all creative outputs, ensuring the best practice is always being upheld across sizes, formats and resolutions.
  • Aspire to continually refine, update and improve the brand and the creative outputs.

What You'll Need

  • 10+ years' design experience, ideally within advertising agencies or B2B brands
  • 5+ years' team management / leadership
  • Ability to demonstrate strong conceptual and ideation and work
  • Fluent in Adobe creative suite
  • Strong understanding of vital B2B channels, including social, events, video, web and digital
  • Motion design/video skills would be a bonus but are not essential
