Responsibilities:
- Provide
oneonone and group support to students with
behavioural challenges, implementing
tailored behaviour management strategies. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement behaviour support plans.
- Monitor and
assess student behaviour, identifying triggers and implementing
proactive interventions
- Organise and
lead workshops or training sessions for students, staff, and parents on behaviour management and positive reinforcement techniques. - Act as a liaison between the school, parents, and external agencies involved in behaviour support.
- Work closely with the school leadership team to contribute to the development and implementation of schoolwide behaviour policies.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role in an educational setting is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and positive behaviour support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach to behaviour support.
- Certification in behaviour intervention or related field is a plus.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service
OR be willingness to obtain.
