Production Operative/ Machine Operator


Alpine Manufacturing Ltd are a small company experiencing a period of continued growth and are looking for a production operative to learn all aspects of the production department.


The primary role of the successful applicant will be to operate the vacuum forming machines to process flat plastic sheet in to various moulded products, to assist in machine changeovers and planned maintenance and undertake various tasks using workshop tools such as drills, guillotines and fly presses.

Full training will be given to the successful applicant who
must have the following attributes:

  • Experience of working in a fast paced factory environment
  • Experience of working with process machinery
  • Experience of working with hand tools
  • Have a 'can do' attitude
  • Be reliable and trustworthy
A clean UK driving license would be beneficial.

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience operating a fork lift truck
  • Experience will electronic assembly

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£8.60-£12.58 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Wigan: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- production or manufacturing: 1 year (required)
