    Description

    Job Title: Experienced Electrical Engineer/Technician

    We are seeking a skilled electrical engineer/technician to work in industrial and commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have the ability to run small and medium size jobs on site.

    The role is based in the northwest, covering a wide range of electrical installations from our workshop in the High Peak, close to Stockport. The working hours are 45 per week, with flexible time from Monday to Friday.

    Overtime may be required from time to time.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Installation of Electrical Systems: Install electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    2. EICR Reporting: Conduct EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) inspections and provide detailed reports.
    3. Installation Testing: Perform thorough testing of electrical installations to ensure they meet safety standards.
    4. Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot problems with electrical systems and equipment.
    5. Maintenance and Repairs: Order necessary materials and perform maintenance and repairs as needed.
    6. Job Administration: Complete job sheets and maintain accurate records.
    7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with apprentices and other team members to achieve project goals.

    Requirements:

    1. Qualifications: Full apprenticeship with AM2, 18th edition qualification, City and Guilds 2391, IPAF, and CSCS certification.
    2. Skills and Abilities: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Additional Information:

    • Salary Range: £42,000 - £47,800 per year.
    • Benefits: Company car, company pension, flexitime, free parking, and on-site parking.
    • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime required.
