Description

Perth

Flexible Hours - can either be early shifts (breakfast and lunch) or back shifts (dinner and bed)
Are you interested in working for an award winning social care charity?

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support.

No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes - whatever they may be

Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

ENABLE Scotland creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

The Best in _You_ Brings Out the Best in _Me_

The people we support have many varied interests and hobbies and have many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do; they just too often do not get the opportunity to experience these same opportunities.

A career with Enable is as rewarding as it is diverse, Personal Assistants at _their_
best have the potential to truly bring out _the_
best in the people we support.

Let us introduce you to
Alfie

Alfie loves being outdoors, going for walks (especially on those rare sunny days in Scotland) and just being as generally active as possible.

A typical day could be going to the shops to ensure Alfie has all the essentials he needs, attending local groups, or even just to have a wander around his local community.

In his downtime, Alfie enjoys going to his local pub for some karaoke, watching movies, playing video games and listening to music/attending discos & concerts.

Alfie receives support several days a week usually between the hours of 8.30am and 10pm.

Sadly, it's not always possible for Alfie to enjoy what many people would consider these 'simple pleasures' without proper, dedicated support.

Let us introduce you to
Mollie
Mollie loves to make sure her home is kept nice and tidy.

A typical day could be going to the shops to ensure Mollie has all the essentials she needs, supporting her with menu planning and cooking, attending local groups, or even just to have a wander around her local community.

In her downtime, Mollie enjoys going to her local community groups where she meets up with friends. Mollie receives support 7 days a week usually between the hours of 8am and 9pm.

Sadly, it's not always possible for Mollie to enjoy what many people would consider these 'simple pleasures' without proper, dedicated support.
