Head of Department - Business Studies - UET1

This School, based in Wembley, require a Head of Business to start September 2023.

Duration:
Contract - initially 12 months

Working days: 5 days per week

Hours: 8.30am - 15:20pm


Start date:
September 2023


Location:
Wembley, On-site parking available

Experience working with young people

A strong team player, with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, who is able to support and inspire children to learn

Excellent communication skills

Experience working collaboratively in a dynamic and supportive environment

The ability to adapt to an ever changing workload

The readiness to learn and take on a new challenge


Responsibilities:

Undertake an appropriate programme of teaching in accordance with the duties of a standard scale teacher.

Monitoring pupil progress

Working with students 1to1 or in small groups

Behaviour Management

To effectively manage and deploy teaching/support staff, financial and physical resources within the department to support the designated curriculum portfolio
