We are currently looking for Private Bank Associates to join us a on a full time, permanent basis at our offices in Edinburgh.
While we operate on a Monday to Friday, 09:00 -17:30 basis, we offer hybrid working, meaning you can manage your time between the office and working from home.
WHY JOIN US?
We are looking to offer a salary of between £28,000 and £30,000 per annum DOE. In addition, you will receive 25 days' annual leave (plus bank holidays).

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
Act as a key point of contact, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics, putting the clients' interests first, and complying with all regulatory and professional requirements
- Develop relationships with Private Banking clients to understand their potential banking needs
- Set up all types of new client accounts and account administration, including client transfers, debit card ordering and maintenance, excess reporting
- Monitor lending deals to ensure the relevant and appropriate security is in place, including the management of bad and doubtful debts
- Instigate debt recovery activities and coordinate with appointed officers
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- We know most adverts say this, but it really is important that you have excellent communication skills as you will be the first point of contacts for our clients both verbally and written
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines, our client put their trust us to deliver exceptional customer service and knowledge every time
- A sound understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel will be needed to undertake this role
- Working towards your CIOBS Professional Banker Certificate or some experience within banking would be advantageous
