Mitchell Storage & Distribution (MSD) Limited is a privately owned family run business since 1996 and fast approaching our 30th year in business.

Proud Leicestershire Member Depot for the Palletforce UK Group with 3 sites within Leicester.

Vastly growing and fast paced business looking to expand and build on our existing transport planning team by bringing in an extra member who has experience in pallet network depots and transport office environments.

We handled in excess of over 850+ pallet loads every day through our Site 1 location where you will be based in Birstall, Leicester.

You will need to have done this before elsewhere in order to win this job so that the training is somewhat more second nature to you.

If you have not worked in pallet networks before then this job is not best suited to you.

Experience with Palletforce and the Alliance transport system is highly advantageous however not essential as long as you have done transport planning within competitor/similar networks such as Pallex, Palletline, Palletways, TPN, Fortec, UPN, Pallet-track etc...

You will be planning between pallet deliveries per day through our pallet network each morning using the resource of vehicles available to you as well as direct loads and haulage together with our Site 1 team.

Dealing with drivers on a day to day basis it is important you are confident in your ability, have great knowledge of Leicestershire as our cover area and be computer literate to get things right.

You won't be alone, you will be trained "our way" to help you integrate with our family and team ethos we have right throughout the business.

Your team consists of members who have been with us over 10 years and as such you will be trained by people who know your role very well helping you to hit the ground running.

Shift Pattern : 05:00am to 14:30pm-15:00pm daily Monday to Friday

Paid Weekly ; Every Friday.

28 days holiday per year including public & bank holidays

6 month probationary period with 1 and 3 month interval reviews

Salary:
From £27,000.00 per year
