    About the Role

    Are you looking for a new challenge? This role may be just what you need to revitalise your love for nursing. As part of our Healthy Child Programme, the Public Health Nurse will work within a defined area, assessing need and implementing planned programmes of care.

    The postholder will develop skills to provide child-centred, inclusive and accessible public health services for children, families and communities. The role promotes physical and emotional well-being of children and young people, supporting them to establish good health now and in the future.

    This role involves working on early intervention, health promotion, advocacy empowerment inclusion reducing heath inequalities ensuring children reach their full potential. It requires collaboration with various teams promoting innovative care delivery providing targeted support within community.
