The main duties of the job are as follows:

• Provide support to internal and external customers
• Work within the finance department of the company
• Assisting in the day to day financial activities such as data entry to month end management and or yearend statements
• Understand the transactional processes of the business and provide support
• Understands the businesses strategy/vision including customer and supplier needs in order to produce relevant financial information
• Perform reconciliation, correct errors and produce a range of computerised reports using Xero
• Understand and assist with sales, purchases and payroll.
• Effectively record and analyse financial data and be able to communicate data effectively and in a way that nonfinancial staff can interpret and understand.

Ideal Heat Solutions can offer an AAT Assistant Accountant EPA Apprenticeship. Minimum duration is 12months and maximum duration is 36months.

The Programme consists of 3 key elements:
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours and the AAT qualification links directly to the Knowledge requirements of the apprenticeship. The apprenticeship can be offered from a L2 to a Level 4 dependant on qualifications and experience. Consists of classroom-based learning for knowledge and office-based learning for skills and behaviour.


Qualifications Required:
5 GCSEs grade 9 to 5, English and Maths GCSE to a minimum grade 5. Good level of ICT skills is desirable.


Skills Required:
Responsible learner with an ability to work under instruction with the ability to use initiative.


Personal Qualities:

Trustworthy, reliable, good time keeping skills and have a good work ethic. Need to be organised and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
This is a permanent full time role, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (with one day college attendance).
