Country Kitchen Foods Norfolk, who are part of the Dyvine Group are looking for Catering Assistants to join our team in Diss.


Duties will include:

Meal Preparation:


  • Take preprepared individual meals from a freezer and cook them in an oven or commercial steamer
  • Cook certain items such as brunch special when required
  • Making sandwiches, salads, gravy and custard when required.

Customer Service:


  • Take orders from tenants for the following day's meals.

Cleaning and Organisation:


  • Keep kitchen equipment clean and tidy.
  • Clear down the servery area and wash up after service, ensuring the restaurant area is left in a clean and presentable manner.

Compliance and Safety:


  • Adhere to Food Hygiene/Environmental Health regulations and Health & Safety standards.
  • Complete paperwork for EHO
  • Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines.

Desired skills:


  • High level of presentation skills.
  • Experience in catering training to be provided
  • Understanding of food hygiene training to be provided.
  • Friendly and approachable manner with a positive work ethic.
  • High level of communication and prompt timekeeping.

Working Hours:
Shift times: 9am - 2pm. Alternate weekend work required.
