We have an exciting new opportunity within our Landlord Health and Safety team as a Health and Safety Officer.


Your role will be to ensure that we are doing the very best for our customers when it comes to providing safe homes.


What you'll be doing


As our new Health and Safety officer, you will play a vital role in improving people's safety at home, through extensive site inspections and analysis of compliance evidence.


You will need to be organised and used to effectively managing your own time to allow you to ensure that we are meting regulatory compliance frameworks.

Where this is a newly created position, you will have the opportunity to shape this role moving forward.


In this role, you will retrieve property information and compliance evidence using our data systems, inspect completed compliance activities and report back with findings.

You will then action any areas of concern with relevant departments and stakeholders.

You will work in collaboration with the property safety team and corroborate various data sources to ensure that there is one source of the truth


We are looking for someone with an eye for detail that can work with autonomy to deliver a service that ensures the safety of our customers.

About you


To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience improving the safety of people's homes and a strong background of site inspections.

A passion for safety is a must for this role


You will also need to be adept in the reporting of data from multiple sources, in order to inform timely and effective decision making when issues are found.


We will need you to be an independent thinker that can manage their own time effectively and communicate with a variety of stakeholders including internal teams, local authorities and our customers.


There is a requirement to travel for this role, so you will need to have a driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
