My client is an exciting AI SAAS technology start-up, in the last 18 months they have grown extensively.

This is a fast-paced Business Development role in a very small business with ambitious growth plans and a strong financial backing.

Working very closelywith the Senior Leadership and wider team.

This is a greenfield opportunity to build on the existing marketing infrastructure and business development framework to convert sales leads into closed deals.

The ideal person will have tech sales/business developmentexperience, as well as having the drive and ambition to impact sales and enable the business to grow.

Location:
Hybrid Remote - one day in London office per week

THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team
Improving, and developing the mid funnel to close part of the sales process targeting international Marketing Manager and E Commerce decision makers.
Engaging with customer at point of call to action and running the need find process.
Understand customer needs and delivering a solution.
Managing and closing sales pipeline
Meeting / demonstrating the software.
Closing the sale
Onboarding the customer

THE IDEAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER WILL HAVE:

Demonstrable experience as a SAAS business development manager who can operation on a 180 basis i.e. taking mid funnel leads and converting.
Passionate & curious about AI
Strong customercentric background with broad expertise
Commercially minded and responsible for driving growth.
Experience at need find and demo process.
Loves the thrill of a short sales cycle of 23 weeks.
