We focus on ensuring you have a good work-life balance.**Job Summary*To provide high quality support to patients, clinicians and Psymplicity employees in the daily running of the department as an individual and team player.

To undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties required to maintain the smooth running of the department and enable the team to achieve their objectives and meet required deadlines.

Duties can include but are not limited to, the processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner, liaising with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies within accordance with Psymplicity policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as first point of contact for the department, responsible for opening, logging and distributing mail, answering telephone and enquiries from all staff, patient, providing information, directing and prioritising queries as appropriate.
  • Typing letters, reports and associated documentation as required.
  • Main point of contact for designated clinician. Responsible for responding to patient enquiries quickly and efficiently.
  • Keeping other medical secretaries and administration assistants up to date with any changes to clinician's schedule.
  • Maintain clinician diary for appointments, meetings, annual leave, etc.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information as per the Data Protection legislation and work within all Psymplicity's policies policies.
  • To adhere to all departmental, secretarial and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Attending regular team meetings to discuss work issues.
  • Working flexibly when the service requires cover in times of annual leave, sickness and increased activity.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times
  • Liaising with external agencies such as pharmacies and NHS services.
