Tower Crane Operator

WOLFFKRAN. The name stands for experience and competence in the design, construction and use of tower cranes.

With its innovative technology and know-how, the company has significantly contributed to the rapid developments in the field of material handling to date.

We are now looking for Tower Crane Operator to safely and efficiently operate the tower crane to provide lifting services to the site.

Following all instructions given by the supervisor, appointed person or management on site. Always following the lift plan and adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations.

Day-to-day tasks:

Setting up, inspecting and carrying out prestart checks and operating the crane following the site lift plan and the slinger/signallers instructions
Operating the crane in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the manufactures instructions and the site lift plan
Following all site specific safety rules including PPE requirements and too immediately report any possible situations or incidents that could endanger the health, safety and welfare of anyone on site
To accurately complete all documents, including timesheets, daily and weekly inspection check sheets and CPCS logbook
Making the final decision to ensure safe lifting operations (regarding wind speeds, lifting techniques and other site activities)
Following managers communications and instructions regarding site placement
Carrying out running checks as per manufacturers' instructions
Placing crane out of service as per manufacturers' instructions
Securing crane as per site instructions

Job Types:

Full time, long term temporary contracts.
In accordance with the practice of the industry, a crane operator may be required to work at any site or location within the United Kingdom.

Qualification, Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

Essential

CPCS Tower Crane Operator card (luffing jib and saddle jib)
Safety Critical Workers medical
Health and Safety Focused
Applicants must be able to provide proof they have the right to work in the UK

Desirable

CPCS Tower Crane Operator card (luffing jib and saddle jib)

Experience working with Wolffkran Tower Cranes
