Are you passionate about psychology and its profound impact on human behavior and well-being? Are you eager to share your knowledge and insights with others while honing your teaching skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become a Teaching Assistant (TA) and join our dedicated team


Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate small group sessions and participate in oneonone mentoring to support students' academic progress.
  • Help create and refine course materials, including assignments, quizzes, and lab activities.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Provide constructive feedback on student work and offer guidance for improving academic performance.
  • Utilize your own experiences and expertise in psychology to enhance students' understanding of course concepts.
  • Collaborate with the faculty to conduct research projects and contribute to ongoing academic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • A passion for psychology and a strong foundation in psychological theories and research methods.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
