Description

Temporary Contract until March 2025 | 37 hours per week | £27,344 to £29,439 per annum (Grade G) | Norwich

We're looking for two content designers to join our team to work on a range of customer journeys across our busy portfolio of internal and external websites.

These are full-time, fixed-term roles for 2 years.

Working in our Digital Customer Experience Team, you'll help us maintain and improve content that covers everything from social care and health, to tourism.

Our aim is to make online the preferred channel for the majority of our citizens to engage with the council.

Your work will include a mixture of quick-turnaround updates and long-term projects, so it's important you're pragmatic and flexible in your approach.

We create content for our colleagues within the council according to user needs and backed by user research. We use agile delivery methods to make sure we are clearly prioritising work in line with our colleagues' expectations.

You'll already have the ability to write engaging, user-centred content.

You should have some knowledge of user research and agile working, while being keen to improve and develop your skills further.

We'll support you in developing your skills while working alongside more experienced designers. There are also training and development opportunities both in house and in the wider digital government community.

We want our people to be inspired and motivated to work well together, make the most of our workspaces, enjoy a healthy work-life balance, and deliver excellent services to Norfolk and its people.

Flexibility is built into the way we work, with hybrid working a key feature for many roles. Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good broadband connectivity.

You'll also have access to our modern open-plan offices within walking distance of Norwich city centre.

Interviews will use video technology, and you will have the opportunity to discuss these working arrangements.
