Business Analyst (Data Governance) - Contract


My client a top company are looking for a Business Analyst with Data Governance experience to join their team on a 6-month initial contract, based in Watford 2/3 days a week.

Please note this role will be paid via an umbrella company.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Functional Leads, Project Managers, and key external partners across the business to elicit, understand, document, and prioritise requirements
  • Ensure problems are understood to the right level of detail and work with the wider team to define solution options
  • Work closely with a multitude of technical and nontechnical roles to ensure an accurate and shared understanding of requirements
  • Validate the impact of change initiatives, raising project/programme risks and dependencies where appropriate
  • Use data to drive decisions and improve value to the business

Key skills and experience required:


  • Good understanding of Data Governance strategy, frameworks and best practice
  • Previously worked within industries such as Retail, Gaming, or Gambling
  • Experience of project management tools such as (Confluence, Jira, ect)
  • Proactive with the ability to take initiative
  • Selfmotivated with a flexible approach to change
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work within a fastpaced environment involving multiple projects
  • Efficient and highly organised, with the ability to multitask
