Residential Childcare Worker position will involve working in our Residential Home that supports children and young people.The successful applicant will be part of a team that specialises in delivering the best support to these young individuals during early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
You will be supporting in activities, education, life skills, health and emotional well-being of the young people in your care.
Due to the needs of our young people, experience of working with vulnerable individuals in a residential setting is preferred however full training will be provided.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- To work under the guidance of the home manager to support the home and young people in your care.
- To use behaviour management strategies effectively and in line with the homes policy and procedures, which contribute to a purposeful environment
- To be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, security and confidentiality, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£10.42-£13.50 per hour
