Job Description:


Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the role of Principal Designer / CDM Adviser under the CDM Regulations.
  • Manage and ensure the delivery of Health and Safety Consulting team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
  • Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.
  • Providing wider Health & Safety consultancy services to clients.
  • Preparation of fee proposals attendance at Client presentations if required.
  • Be a primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing).
  • Provide full Health & Safety consultancy duties to AECOM clients including our internal market.

  • Understands the need to provide quality services and seeks to evaluate these against agreed standards. Able to demonstrate how they have developed their own skills to support this.
  • Able to deploy plans that are appropriately comprehensive, realistic and effective in meeting personal, project and business goals.

Qualifications:


  • Excellent knowledge of CDM 201
  • Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Experience in the production of Health and Safety related documents
  • Experience in industrial construction projects and H&S construction advice.
  • Good knowledge of construction processes
  • Excellent knowledge and use of MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified
  • Experience in design/construction
  • Experience in Health & Safety
  • NEBOSH General Certificate / Construction Certificate
  • Membership of Association for Project Safety
  • CMIOSH
  • NEBOSH Diploma (not essential)
