About the role
We are excited to be recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Controller. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups.
You will be a valued team member reporting to the Branch Accountant, working within one of our fast-paced dealerships.
You will be responsible for the daily processing of key purchasing functions such as purchase ledger batch processing, processing of manufacturer invoices and raising payments and refunds.
You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within an accounts department and provide the highest level of accuracy and possess a keen eye for detail.

An average day as Purchase Ledger Controller
- Purchase ledger batch processing.
- Purchase ledger maintenance processing invoices to correct nominal codes, reconciling supplier statements.
- Processing customer refunds through the PDQ machine.
- Daily download and Processing of manufacturer invoices and credit notes.
About you
- You will have excellent communication skills.
- Experience within accounts is essential. Experience within the motor industry would be advantageous including the use of Autoline or a similar system. However full training will be provided.
- You will have a strong attention to detail and a be an great team player.
- You will be computer literate, especially regarding utilisation of MS Office including Microsoft Excel and Word.
