Work for an outstanding CQC rated care provider, and a provider with excellent feedback in the Pembrokeshire area.

We make a difference to vulnerable adults and people in our local community - you can too
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous for this role

We are looking to build a small team to support a young lady in the Pembrokeshire area who requires support to meet her everyday needs.

This young lady (A) has her own accommodation in the community, and we are looking to build a team who can support on a two to one ratio through the day and a sleepover on an evening.

A suffers from trauma and has a diagnosis of Global Development Delay and Attachment Difficulties.

A's attachment difficulties leaves her struggling to connect with others and manage her emotions, resulting in a lack of trust and self-worth, a fear of getting close to anyone, anger, and a need to be in control, if you feel this is the right role for you, you will need to have an understanding of these challenges and how they can impact on someone

This role is to work within our small team of support workers, and to work closely with A, her family and health professionals to provide the right level of support and to ensure as much as possible that she is supported so that the challenges that could impact her are reduced, and we have proven over time that with the right support A does not present any challenges

A lives in Pembrokeshire and has her own property, and the support provided is to support A to live a full life and enjoy doing the things she likes to do, whilst supporting the trauma that A has from time to time.

This is a unique opportunity to support a lady in the community (in her own property), who is both engaging and loves life, but struggles with several emotional challenges.

A is intelligent and when freed from her torments, caring and empathetic person with the potential to be a contributing citizen.

However, knowledgeable, skilled, and reflective support will be required to assist her on this journey.

Consistency is also a key element of this package of support, so have a small team, so that consistency is maintained, but also, we are looking for longevity and durability, again this is a crucial element to supporting A in a way that ensures that she moves forward and starts to enjoy life.

We are a responsible employer and full training will be provided to support the team to have a therapeutic approach and an approach that reduces behaviours.
