Description
Supporting the nursing team to provide a high level of patient care, the HCA will share responsibility for: Clinical- Health Assessments for newly registered patients.
- NHS Health checks.
- Vaccinations (under instruction of Medical Practioner).
- Phlebotomy.
- Wound Management.
- Community based referrals and health promotion strategies.
- Assist with Minor Surgery Procedures. Other Duties
- Maintain the Cold Chain
- Participate in stock takes / ordering of supplies
- Assist with call and recall of patients
- Use clinical system Emis Web to record all patient contacts
- Participate / Contribute to practice team meetings
