Consultant Gynaecologist required for a busy clinic in central London W1, One full day / week.

The Gynae centre was established in 1999 as a one stop centre for women gynaecological problems in central London close to all forms of transport and some of the best shopping facilities are within 5 minute's'walk.

The Gynae entre is a small centre with 2 consultants, 3 nurses and 2 administration staff.

It has a small operating theatre on site which offers minor surgeries only, carried out during a normal working day.

Our services include termination of pregnancies, mostly medical both face to face and remotely as well as surgical terminations. Surgical terminations are carried out under local anaesthesia or sedations up to 12 weeks. Although previous experience in suction evacuation is expected, manual vacuum aspiration under ultrasound control training will be provided.

The Clinic also offers Gynaecological and early pregnancy scans, previous experience in ultrasound is desirable.

A typical day s a mixture of Gynaecology consultations, consultations for medical or surgical terminations, and minor surgeries including surgical terminations.

All within a friendly environment form 9-6 pm.

You will be expected to answer and support patients having medical terminations after hours, average 2-3 / evening and rarely after 10 pm.

Experience:

2 years post Ob/Gyn speciality training.

Experience in Gynae and early pregnancy Ultrasound scans is an advantage but not necessary, training will be provided.

Experience in termination of pregnancy will be provided.

You must have good command of English language, reliable, well presentable with good communication skills.

You are expected to have your own medical indemnity insurance.

Salary £200,000 pro rata. Self-employed.
