We are a close team looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to provide an effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to a team of Reception Staff.


The role will involve the co-ordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems.


The post holder is expected to act on their own initiative on a daily basis to ensure the effective running of the service, prioritising their own workload as required.


The post holder is expected to liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, external organisations and the public, dealing with confidential information in an appropriate manner.


The Administration Team Leader is a member of the Department's Admin Management Team, and is responsible for operational running of the Reception Team within the Emergency Department.

The post holder will also support the ED Admin Manager in all matters relating to the HR matters of the Reception team & the smooth running of Patient Flow within the Emergency Department.

The post holder works closely with the internal management team.

Whilst undertaking this role it carries the responsibility of being a highly visible member of the Emergency Department Team and must show high standards of professionalism.

The post holder also acts as Ambassador for the department and works closely with external organisations and other Health Care Providers.


The post holder, in addition to providing the above, will be responsible for Stationery ordering of department stock and assisting the Admin Manager with ensuring all patient medical records are up to date.
