LOCUM APPOINTMENT FOR TRAINING IN GASTROENTEROLOGY- 1 post

Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term 12 month, (from 2/8/23 to 2/8/24) full time post based in either the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh or the Western General Hospital.


This post offers the opportunity to spend 12 months in gastroenterology and hepatology training in either the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh or the Western General Hospital.


The post will involve both inpatient and outpatient care as well as specialist clinics and endoscopy training appropriate to stage of training (and could include ERCP and/or EUS if required).


This post has deanery approval for training and the successful applicant will receive training opportunities at the appropriate level based on previous experience.

There may be a possibility to extend this appointment to the end of the training year. The extension may be at any of the hospitals on the rotation.
