THE ROLE


This is an exciting opportunity to join Pour Moi as a Buyer's Admin Assistant, across multiple categories, a role key to the development & growth of our product ranges.

THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support the Swimwear & Lingerie buying team by ensuring the administration of the departmental buying function is operating effectively
  • Be aware of the overall business strategy. Work with the Buying / Design team to build on the strategy within the remit of the BAA role.
  • Lead sample management;
  • Ensure all samples are chased, managed, labelled and in the correct location.
  • Approval, fit & photo shoot sample organisation & preparation.
  • Collating & preparing meeting samples, ensuring samples arrive on time.
  • Organisation of showrooms ensuring that all samples are present and the showrooms are well presented.
  • Requesting & posting samples for wholesale meeting
  • Filing fabric swatches
  • Supporting the buying function in overseeing the organisation of the product lifecycle
  • To create and maintain department supplier critical paths ensuring deadlines are met
  • Daily liaison with suppliers on the status of sample development
  • Maintaining excellent communication with supplier base, identifying any issues and taking appropriate action
  • Work with wholesale reps to answer queries about product information and sample requests. Creating & sending line sheets & catalogues to sales reps
  • Checking products are showing on the website correctly, including product linking.
  • Learning our internal PIM system & ensuring system information is accurate
  • Responsible for loading all new styles to company system correctly
  • Updating relevant pictorials & internal documents
  • Complete comp shops to understand our competitors & market identifying opportunities. Plus carrying out pricing comp shops & feeding back to the team
  • Support Garment tech in fit sessions by organising samples for the meeting & writing notes
  • Work with buying team to review approvals and contact a suppliers in a timely manner
  • Communicating with sales & marketing team to order in photoshoot samples
  • Responsible for keeping photography tracker up to date, learning & taking mannequin photography & uploading this into internal systems. Assisting on photoshoots.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Awareness of current and future trends, knowledge of brands appropriate to target market and understanding of what is happening in retail
  • Organisation skills, able to use initiative and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Numerical competency
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers and others at all levels.
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Good teamwork skills a willingness to participate as a full team member
  • Previous system experience is desired or clear ability to learn systems
