Print Finisher / Machine Operator - Packaging & Labels


Location:
Bradford


Salary:

Company:
A global leading packaging manufacturer.

Role:

You will work within a press team and be responsible for completing the finishing of the master reel to clients' specifications.


  • Operating finishing machine to convert materials to finished goods.
  • Ability to read and follow work order specifications.
  • Setup and operation of reel finishing machines / rewind
  • Good eye for detail required
  • Produce jobs to the instructions provided
  • Strong IT skills required to operate using management information system
  • Ad hoc tasks: packing and other finishing tasks
  • Job may also require assisting in other areas of production

Requirements:


  • Experience working within a print and/or packaging and/or selfadhesive labels manufacturer preferable
  • Litho / Digital or Flexo print background considered
  • Print finishing experience reel finishing highly desirable
  • Leaflet / Paper experience highly desirable
  • Will consider generic print backgrounds i.e., print assistant
  • Ability to work well in a highpressure environment
  • Strong communication skills
