Pricing Analyst on behalf of our client, who are
one of the UK's fastest growing business' within the renewables industry.

This is a brilliant opportunity that will be well suited to an Analyst with solid numerical ability with a real interest in energy markets and renewable energy sector.

up to £45,000 per annum (+ benefits)

As a Pricing Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving the business forward and helping to deliver the organisations full-service provision to energy consumers and generators.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Analysis of generation and consumption half hourly data deploying analytical and pricing methodologies to ensure that prices offered are accurate
  • Develop and maintain standard and bespoke pricing models for halfhourly metered electricity consumers and generators
  • Maintain a proactive approach to the forecasting and pricing processes for all elements that make up the final customer price (including distribution, transmission, metering and other industry charges)
  • Assist in the onboarding of customers and respond to all aspects of pricing queries from customers to ensure billing activity is not negatively affected
  • Work with third party service providers to ensure a seamless interaction between the company and the company's Customers and the service providers
  • Undertake analysis of customer and portfolio profitability, identifying key opportunities to reduce cost and increase margin

What you'll need:


  • An interest of, or preferably working experience in, the UK energy markets
  • Experience of pricing or analysing fixed or flexible contracts / power purchase agreements (highly desirable)
  • Strong academic background with a numerate, technical or energy focused degree
  • Excellent communication skills and confident personality with the ability to challenge ideas when necessary
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills and a willingness to develop these further
  • Experience with a scripting language (ideally Python)
  • Experience building reports, dashboards and databases
