Based in Skoolkit's Eastleigh Head Office and Distribution Centre, Hampshire

Emphasis HR are recruiting on behalf of Skoolkit. Skoolkit is a well-respected and growing family run business.

They are a leading independent supplier of school wear, with stores in Basingstoke, Eastleigh, Fareham, Havant, Totton and Newbury, and a central distribution warehouse in Eastleigh.


Responsible to:
Accounts Manager


Responsible for:

Payroll

  • Responsible for collating all the Company's monthly payroll information and administering payroll using Sage 50, alongside the other Payroll, HR & Accounts Administrators.
  • Make all related payments to HMRC and any other government department.
  • Issue payslips to all members of staff via our online portal.
  • Administer the company pension scheme, sending reports and payments to relevant pension companies.
  • Working with the other payroll administrators to complete all necessary tasks.
HR

  • Managing and updating the new starter and payroll changes spreadsheet together with the other Payroll, HR & Accounts Administrators.
  • Drafting HR documentation using the approved Company templates including new employment contracts and letters.
  • Create new starter paperwork using the Company's templates and send to the new starter, ensuring documents are completed and right to work documentation is checked prior to start date.
  • Overseeing our HR database Breathe to upload, update and maintain employee data.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in payroll, HR administration and/or accounts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to resolve issues.
  • Selfmotivated, with ability to prioritise.
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional manner and the ability to build and maintain strong, working relationships with a variety of colleagues, key stakeholders and outsourced HR consultants.
  • Adaptable, with the ability to take the initiative.
  • IT literate. Proficient use of Sage, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
